SAMBA: The 4–40 keV X-ray absorption spectroscopy beamline at SOLEIL
نویسندگان
چکیده
The SAMBA X-ray Absorption beamline has been operating for users since January 2008. The beamline covers a large energy range from 4 up to 40 keV in two working modes: a “high flux” mode using a sagittally focusing monochromator and a “time-resolved” mode using a dedicated Quick-EXAFS monochromator. Herein a technical description of the main beamline components is given and results concerning energy resolution, available flux and time resolved performances are presented.

Optical design and multi-length-scale scanning spectro-microscopy possibilities at the Nanoscopium beamline of Synchrotron Soleil.
The Nanoscopium 155 m-long beamline of Synchrotron Soleil is dedicated to scanning hard X-ray nanoprobe techniques. Nanoscopium aims to reach ≤100 nm resolution in the 5-20 keV energy range for routine user experiments. The beamline design tackles the tight stability requirements of such a scanning nanoprobe by creating an overfilled secondary source, implementing all horizontally reflecting ma...

The XDD beamline (http://ssls.nus.edu.sg/facility/beamlines/xdd/xdd.htm) at SSLS delivers a tunable monochromatized photon source with high resolution in a wide energy range (2.3-10 keV). This hard x-ray light source is ideal for diffractometry, fluorescence detection and absorption spectroscopy, especially the study of XAFS (x-ray absorption fine structure) and XANES ( X-ray Absorption Near Ed...

The crystal monochromator beamline KMC-1 at a BESSY II bending magnet covers the energy range from soft (1.7 keV) to hard x-rays (12 keV) employing the (n,-n) double crystal arrangement with constant beam offset. The monochromator is equipped with three sets of crystals, InSb, Si (111), and Si (422) which are exchangeable in situ within a few minutes. Beamline and monochromator have been optimi...
متن کاملCLÆSS: The hard X-ray absorption beamline of the ALBA CELLS synchrotron
CLÆSS is a general-purpose absorption spectroscopy beamline at the ALBA CELLS Spanish synchrotron. Its optical layout is presented here along with its powerful capabilities for collecting absorption spectra with high signal to noise ratio in an unusually wide energy range (2.4–63.2 keV). Continuous energy scanning for quick scans is available, allowing to collect X-ray absorption near edge stru...
متن کاملA hard X-ray nanospectroscopy station at SPring-8 BL39XU
We upgraded the hard X-ray spectroscopy beamline BL39XU at SPring-8 by installing Kirkpatrick-Baez mirrors to equip it with submicron-focusing capability. At the new experimental end-station located 74 m from the undulator source, an X-ray nanoprobe with a size of 120 × 100 nm has become available at 5–16 keV. This upgrade is fully compatible with the X-ray polarization tunability and helicity-...
